So, theres this girl I want to ask to a dance next week...?

So there's this girl I've been thinking about asking to a formal dance at my school next week. Here's the thing though, I meant to ask her at school today and I only saw her once, and that one time she was with friends. I wasn't going to be an awkward turtle and pull her away. So I was kind of like "Forget that" So anyways, I know I could maybe text her and ask, but I just don't know. I mean I kind of needed to ask today so I could go out and get a suit this weekend. Now I'm not entirely sure if I'll get a yes, I mean some guys I know got a yes from girls way out of their league. Even though the girl I'm asking isn't out of mine. I mean it seems like she flirts sometimes, I mean she steals my phone, tries to read my texts, I saved her from falling one time and she jokingly said I was trying to straddle her leg. Just stuff like that, I've known her for 2 years but this is as of lately. I mean today she gazed at me when I was walking by her, which made me think that someone told her I was going to ask, but then I realized I was over thinking it. So anyways, What do Yahoo answers?
