How To Answer This Cute And Not Sounding Awkward?

me and my boyfriend were making out and he asks" what do you want?" and I sat there straddling over him for a few seconds then just shrugged my shoulders because i didn't know what he meant by it. and if he meant what I though, which is what I want him to do to me, I didn't know how to answer him with out sounding awkward about it. can you tell me what he meant and how I should answer it with out being weird or awkward about it. thank you (:
