Why is God such a terrorist to us people?

Why is God terrorizing people all around the world? Why is God going to send some of your family, friends, and enemies in the lake of fire forever? Why does God cause so much trouble in life, like starving kids to death? Doesn't God have the power to save kids? Why is God so mean?
